Notice of Bread Price Increase

Effective today, November 27, 2021, our breads and baguettes will be increasing by $1 per loaf.

The past year has brought significant increases in the cost of grains and transportation. This along with our commitment to paying our employees fair wages with benefits, is why we must increase prices. 

It remains our commitment to provide you with the highest quality products available anywhere, made using freshly milled flour and sourdough methods exclusively.  After the wheat, the most important ingredient in this formula are the people required to create it, and our age-old method of bread baking requires many more hands to create than the average loaf of sourdough bread. First we receive the grain, then we mill it, then we mix, shape, proof, and bake it. It’s a long process but we are sure you agree with us that the hard work and extra time are worth it. 

It is because of your support for better bread, baking, flour and dry goods that we are able to do what we do. We will continue to provide you with quality bread you can’t find anywhere else in the city, made with love by people who really care, including the farmers who grew the wheat.
