Shop The Recipe: Mushrooms on Toast

Try this delicious option with our new Mixed Mushroom packs. Just toast a slice our your favourite Flourist sourdough and add sautéed mushrooms, parsley, and a squeeze of lemon. 

Basic Mushrooms on Toast 
1 pack Mixed Mushrooms 
1 clove garlic, minced 
2 slices toasted Sourdough Boule 
3-4 tbsp Olive Oil 
1 tbsp chopped Parsley
Fresh lemon juice 
Salt and pepper to taste 

Heat a sautée pan and add a tsp of olive oil or butter. Add the mushrooms and cook, stirring for 2-3 minutes until the liquid starts to evaporate. Add the minced garlic and cook a further minute or two until the garlic is fragrant. Season to taste with salt and pepper. 

Serve over toasted sourdough, dividing the cooked mushrooms evenly between the 2 slices. Top with fresh parsley and a squeeze of fresh lemon. Enjoy hot or at room temperature.
